How far could a choice take us?

I have always wondered that, when our life reach point when we don’t have any other road to take it means we need to assume another hard choice?

This week I took a choice, I had two options: Break my own rules, take a shot and maybe screw up something very important in my life or follow my own rules and make one person think that I’m a selfish cold bastard.

I pick the second option, some of you might be wonder why because sometimes we find something so good in our lives and we don’t want it to disappear because we think it might not happen again and that’s the main reason for my choice

I have to admit that I’m so afraid of losing that important part of my life even if I look bad, because is being a long time since I have something like this and also the first time in years I’m afraid of losing something

I’m not sure if I took the right choice and that’s troubling my mind for the whole week and maybe I’ll took me a lot of time to digest it, maybe without knowing I screw up what I didn’t want to screw up and I’ll lose it, at the end of the day I just can live my life carrying the heavy load of all the choices I’ve ever made and try to wait for the best

Rules to make life easier (Well at least mine)

1. Make sure you’re the Hunter, not the hunted (Apply on almost everything including hunting)

2. Don’t risk a good friendship for love (Sometimes love doesn’t last or is not good enough as you thought and you’ll lose a great friend)

3. Smile (is free, is good, makes the world happy)

4. Take a minute to look up the sky (think in all those good things you’ve done)

5. Family over everything (Some people come and go but family last forever)

6. Never regret what you’ve done (You may not find the reason soon, but someday you’ll know why you did what you did)

7. Never keep something you want to say to another person (If you love someone, tell her/him it might worth the shot)

8. Pay attention to the little details (You’ll find some pretty awesome things or people for doing it)

9. Never give up (Always give your best, until you can say “Why try harder”)

10. “The one you love and the one who loves you are never, ever the same person” (Chuck Palahniuk Quote)

P.D. If you found a good reason to break this rules…. Forget them, take the leap of faith! In case you fail well Keep Calm and Move On, if you succeeded well, congrats

Friendship

I have to admit that I’ve always wondered how my life could be if I had other kind of friends or maybe never met my group of friends.

5 months ago I started college again, in one of my classes I met a cute girl, at first we just say a few words and I wasn’t quite sure if she liked me. Well I can’t be sure why or how but we just started to talk, to joke and all those lousy stuff. And well in October of 2012 she became my best friend.

Two days ago with a very creepy voice, she said “Hope you and I still be friends in the future” she said that because she wasn’t paying attention to something important, but after that I give it a lot of thought during the trip to my home and we all know that some of the people we met in our lives they just disappear in time. I know we have a lot of time left before we finish our career but I certainly hope that even after college she still be one of the greatest girls I’ve ever met and also my best friend

One day someone asked me, what does the life really mean to you?
I couldn’t give him a clear answer that time but walking to my house I give it a thought and maybe this is what live mean to me

I can’t be sure about which day I’ll disappear from this world, could be tomorrow or maybe in the next 30 years. That’s why I think the meaning of life is Choice

We’ll walk by the road of Life living with the heavy load of all the choices we made, at some point we’ll find someone that hopefully will support us every time till the day we die.

“The real thing in our life is the things we’ve done, our ideals and even our choices are the only things that will remain. Fortunatelly for us, everytime we look at the sky maybe we’ll see our triumphs and mistakes hopefully we’ll smile and embrace them. At the end that’s the only thing that matters”

A few days ago my best friend asked me the story about my ex-girlfriend; at first I avoided the theme but after I few minutes I told her almost everything.

How you can find a Lost Love? I can’t be sure of that and neither if I will find the answer. I can’t remember which day I met my girlfriend but unfortunately for me the first thing I said to her was “You Don’t Know What Love Is”, yeah I know that’s a very poor choice of words but at some point that phase build the Foundations of our relationship.

When she became my girlfriend the first thing I told her was “Please don’t ever make me Promises, Promises because there’s nothing worse than a Broken Promise” We have a lot of great and beautiful moments at that time I considered myself a Lucky Man. During our relationship we have Slow Hands, we Sing almost every day and we Sprawl in the grass almost every day, we used to dream with a travel to Rome and met the legendary Knights of Cydonia or go to an Island in the Sun. Later the relationship ended and she came with weirdest thing I’ve heard in my life “I wouldn’t be your girlfriend, Not if you Were the Last Junkie on Earth”

When the relationship ended the only thing I could say was “Wish You Were Here” and think in all the opportunities I Waste to make her happy, I have to admit that was a tough day and full of Coffee & TV. A few days after that I found her in a Party of a friend, I have to admit that was a very awkward situation she was 37mm away from me and felt like a Karma Police was chasing me after all those things I’ve done, then we saw each other and a very stupid way we started to sing Lucy in The Sky with Diamonds and Mondo Bongo, was Fun For me and I’m quite sure was fun for her too.

Before leaving she said “I’m going to Suffragette City and I’m not sure if I’m coming back, we know at the end of the day love is All to All” smiled at me and left. After all those things I’ve trying to become a Better Man

My friend looked at me with a very particular face and said “Tomorrow It’s The End of the World as We Know It, why you told me this? Do you even remember Whatsername has been?”

I told her

“I can’t be sure why I told you all of these things, even if tomorrow the world ends I just wanted leave knowing that a great friend of mine knew this weird story…. Before I Go to Sleep I want to tell you:

Last year I was walking in LA streets then I met a cute girl, she seem very angry and tired so I invited her to a coffee then we started to talk and she told me a very interesting story.

Everything started during Summertime, she moved to California to fulfill her dream to become a journalist when her friend received her with a Welcome Home she felt so good that she unpacked her stuff and said “Now is The Time to Sleep”. Then she started to have a weird dream related to the story of Icarus and The Cave she used to visit with her parents when she was a kid, for her all those Road Trips where meant to find a Mountain Sound she always liked unfortunately for her, that kind of sound doesn’t exist. Then she traveled to another world in her Paper Planes trying to find the Pieces of that sound, finally she woke up.

The same day we met she found the guy of her dreams, she tried to speak to him but suddenly her Tongue Tied and dreamed of an American Wedding, she told me “Sometimes we have to much Pride that we can’t talk to anybody”, then she thank me for the coffee and walked away

The days passed and I saw her again weeks after our first coffee, I couldn’t avoid asking about everything that passed after our first encounter we went to a coffee shop and told me everything

She met a little girl called Maliblue -Weird name for a kid, I know- she felt sorry for her because she didn’t have any Money, but the kid was acting very strange when she gave her 10 dollars and Maliblue said “You’ll never met Thieves Like Us just Lower Your Eyelids to die with the sun” and she disappeared.

She discovered that was dreaming because she saw a Elephant Gun and said “This can’t be real” and woke up again and watched the beautiful Sunlight entering by her window. I asked her about the guy she met weeks earlier, she just said she were very lucky.

They met in Sovereign Light Cafe and he starting to talk about non sense stuff like Little Numbers and a weird Moon Theory, he said they can never be together and gave her some cards as Consolation Prizes. She returned to her home crying even cursing every person close to her and called her brother “Cabron”, and started to Itchin’ on a Photograph of that guy, after saw all those things her friend say something to her that would change her life forever

A man came into the coffee shop and said “Here I Am Baby” and she told me that he was the guy from the cafe then before leaving she told me what her friend told to her that night

“We live in a beautiful Midnight City and we’re in a permanent Pursuit of Happiness while the Colour Fade of our lives. Just enjoy everything you do even those mistakes that can make your life better try to Live Those Days Tonight and never regret of the good things in your life”

She just smile at me and left holding her boyfriend hand, after that I never saw her again

Is hard to explain what you feel when you’re in love and actually that’s not the idea of this post, I’m not quite sure which is the real purpose of this, hope I can find it while I’m writing it

A few years ago I heard two people talking about the meaning of love. One of them said that “Was finding a person that love you for who you are” and the other that “Was find a person that enjoy the little things about life”

Then I started to think about it, couldn’t find any mistakes in both theories. Maybe both were I cannot be sure about it, I’m only sure of one thing I’ll have another chance to find that out.

Probably Love is like a sunset, is beautiful, warm and may not last long. But none of that matters, you have to do your best and I’m sure you’ll find a person that will make you feel like you’re watching an eternal sunset

Birthday

Wow, it’s been almost a Year or maybe more since I wrote anything in this blog.

I have to admit that is weird how my life had change in less than a year. But let start for the beginning

Right now I’m 20 years old but I never thought that 2 years ago I’ll be doing something that never crossed my mind and actually enjoy it the way I do, is funny how or lives change with some decisions we make, last year I chose one and I’m pretty sure is the best thing I’ve ever done.

Every time I think in all the things I’ve done in this two years, I remember the people that told me once “You’re going to lose your time with all those videogames and stuff”, now I’m smiling and thinking that maybe I’m losing my time but at least I’m doing something that I love and thanks to that I had the chance to meet some amazing people that changed the way I used to think.

I’m not a big fan of Birthdays, I exactly don’t know why but just don’t like it but I’m pretty sure is not the fact I’m getting older every year. Maybe the day doesn’t have the same magic used to have when I was a child, hope every person that have the chance to read this in their birthdays o any different day remember this

Somebody recently told me that Tom Deininger sends out a few assistants every week onto the streets to collect as much ‘trash’ as possible. I’m not surprised. Deininger creates enormous portraits and landscapes by using just objects. You would never guess how much the pieces protrude from the main panels. The videos on his website showing his process are a must see.

Live, Laugh, Love, Think and Conviction

Well, when I started to write this post I thought “I have another three post in my mind and I’m writing the new one that pop out, that’s not a good idea”, also it came out a lot of moments and all that stuff that is not common in me but actually that’s a different story.

For me these things are the most important things in our life, why? because this are things that you forget sometimes and make your life harder.

Live: Life is not only to be outside, play with friends and all that stuff is remember all those great moments that you have with all the world,for example Black Sails in The Sunset, a beautiful big sun or just see how the night is darkest before the dawn

Laugh: There’s nothing better that laugh to forget your problems for a while and also when you’re in trouble you always will remember that stupid joke that someone told you and I’ll make the world brighter

Love: For me this doesn’t need description

Think: Will always take out of a trouble, if you think fast maybe could not be the best option in that moment but I’ll be okay for a while

Conviction: This is the most important, some people like Demi Lovato say Stay Strong for me that means that you never should back down even if you think that you already lost the battle, is that you defend all your thoughts even if the whole world thinks you’re wrong

Maybe for you this aren’t important things in your life but I tell you remind all the good moments while you’re reading this and think if I’m right maybe not but who cares I’m going to defend my position in this post

I spend a few days thinking about it, when I finally find the answer, I meet my friend a week later and told him “My mom is the best for one reason, because as all mothers in the world she’ll love me for what I am”.
